Zhejiang Packaging Products Quality Supervision and Test Center (briefly as Center) is an affiliated organization of the Fangyuan Test Group Corporation Ltd. Its former body belonged to the Quality and Technology Supervision and Test Institute. The Center is engaged in the tests of many kinds of packaging products. It is a testing service organization integrating products tests, testing technology research and technology services. Its 28 products have passed the approval of the CNAL National Authentication Committee. It is a reliable third party notarization test center for the governmental departments, enterprises and social circles to rely on.
The Center has advanced testing instruments and equipments, such as the computerized compression test machine, the IGT printable and adaptable test device, the Gerlai densometer, etc. It has more than 30 specialty laboratories including pressure cooker labs; dangerous products test labs, chain test labs, corrugated paper box test labs and sheet film products labs. It has a high quality special technology, tests and administration group, with which can provide powerful guarantees for the quality of the jobs there.
The Center is mainly in charged with the quality supervision and tests, enforced products authentications, manufacturing license products tests, new products quality determination assigned by the country or the relevant authorities. It has become a test undertaker of the dangerous products, test products for vessel products manufacturing license. The center provides for the whole society various tests, such as entrusted tests of products, products authentication tests, inspection goods tests, product quality dispute arbitration tests, technology analyze, technology consultancy service, etc. Mostly it undertakes the following tasks:
1. Paper packaging (paper box, cardboard packaging, etc): compressive strength tests, anti-fracturing strength tests, piercing strength test, paper board and paper sheet thickness test, lateral pressure strength tests and coherent strength tests.
2. Metal container (steel barrel, steel pail and industrial jars, etc): air-tight test, hydraulic pressure test, stowage test, fall-down test, bail tension test, coated layer thickness tests, coated layer attachment strength test
4. Glass packaging: anti-shock tests, internal stress, internal pressure tests, anti-thermal shock tests
5. Building material packaging (cement container bag, flexible container bag, etc): fall-down tests, the influence to the cementation strength of the package material tests, moisture-proof performance tests, tensile strength tests, heat-resistance and cold-resistance tests
6. Packing for transport: Pressure tests, stowage tests, fall-down tests, sine fixed frequency vibration tests
7. Hazardous chemical packaging and vessels: airtight tests, hydraulic pressure tests, stowage tests, fall-down tests
