Zhejiang Provincial Center of Product Quality Test for
Low-voltage Appliances, the former of which is Jiaxing Low-voltage
Appliance Testing Station of Zhejiang General Testing Station
of Mechanic Product Supervision, is the earliest and biggest
professional low-voltage product quality testing organization
in Zhejiang;also is one of the state appointed low-voltage
product quality testing lab for manufacturing license issue.
Till now, the center has undertaken many government supervision
testing tasks and the sample test entrusted by low-voltage
product enterprises across national wide; Since 2003,the
center has started international low-voltage appliance authentication
testing service.
The center is the member of the national low-voltage test
cooperation network thus gaining high reputation in the
low-voltage industry, making great contribution to the development
of low-voltage apparatus industry and the quality improvement
of low-voltage products in Zhejiang province.
Human resource:
Now the center owns 20 work staff who are very professional
in the low-voltage apparatus testing and related quality
control, among them 30% are senior engineers who are familiar
with quality testing standards and highly experienced in
the testing technique, 60% are technicians graduated from
professional college with practical working experience in
the hand and two CCC factory spot inspectors; All of them
could provide highly quality testing service and insightful
suggestion for the low-voltage apparatus enterprises.
Technological aspects:
Now the testing center occupies more than 5200 ?space area,
the environments testing equipments and capacity of which
listed in the cutting-edge in the home country, accommodating
state-edge facilities and instruments such as constant temperature?high-low
temperature? humid heat testing room and EMC?protective
level testing lab. The testing capacity could meet more
than 90% testing requirement for low-voltage apparatus industry
in the home country.

The total equipment investment in the center is over 30
million RMB and could conduct various kinds of testing under
a wide range of environments according to the standard,including
some most advanced equipments such as data collection systems
(AMO from Germany& Nicolet from USA)? Anglient temperature
rise measurement apparatus which could monitor the temperature
in real time;Mitsubishi PLC control unit used in short-circuit
breaking capacity and electricity life testing(all of operation
controlled by the end user computer);one 30 m3 constant
temperature?low wind speed testing room used in “time-electric
current” property testing;two 20 m3 constant temperature?low
wind speed testing rooms;20 sets of electrical current steady
flow controller used in temperature rise testing;plus 10
sets of high-lower temperature alternation humid heat hoods/high-lower
temperature quickly alternation hoods .

4) International service scope:
Our mainly service scope ranges from national testing projects
to international authentication testing. The center has
passed the spot examination to be appointed as international
lab by Sweden SEMKO; currently the center is appointed by
the France BV as cooperative testing lab to undertake NF
authentication testing issues.
