The center is approved and built by Zhejiang Quality Technology Supervision Bureau, being engaged in professional tests for spare parts of automobiles and motorcycles. It is affiliated to the Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group Corporation Ltd.
It has passed the China National Lab Authentication and Legalization ( (CNAL);
It has passed the provincial organization Check and Acceptance and Legalization (CAL) of Zhejiang province;
It has passed the Zhejiang provincial Metrological Authentication (CMA)
The center is the only test organization which has the ability to test engines and has passed the metrological authentication of Zhejiang.
All its testing reports have legal effects. It has the legal status to provide the notarization data independently for the society.

Test Scope:
The testing scope covers a wide range, including various usages of gasoline and diesel motors; engine parts like crankshafts, connecting-rods, bearing bushings, piston rings and radiators; the calibration and tests of fuel consumption and engine oil consumption. Its equipments are well prepared and in the leading role of the country.
The center has a powerful testing strength and it is well equipped. It has 5 testing workers. Among them are 3 senior engineers. It has been cooperating with the Mechanical and Energetic Institute of Zhejiang University. It is a power to power unification.
The center has many precise types of equipment like the ATS equipment made in America, and the imported metrological tri-rectangular coordinator, the automobile and motorcycle inertia braking platform, the constant speed tester, the integrated test platform for braking master cylinder, wheel cylinder, vacuum augmenter and the continuous service test platform.
Among them, the foursquare machine (Its value is more than two million USD) can perform the simulation test for the various road conditions of the driving system. Its testing standard is the first class in the world. The MTS suspension system imported from America (valuing one million USD) can perform the test for the performance of the suspension system.
The lab occupies 3,000 square meters. It has the first grade testing equipment in the total value of 60 million dollars. The testing scope covers the five systems of vehicle engines, power trains, steering, braking and electrical apparatus.
