May 2004 Successful cooperation with British BLC Leather Technical Center

BLC-Fangyuan(Haining) Leather Test Center was formally founded in Sep.2003; In Nov.2003, Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group delegation went to British BLC Leather Technical Center for proceeding laboratory management and technical training, soon afterwards invited the BLC specialists to take system training and supervise rigorous examination, at the same time gathered valid international advanced standards, and purchased test equipments according to the international standard; in May 2004, passed the laboratory spot examination evaluation by British BLC Leather Technical Center and issued the BLC report in June 2004 through authorization, the BLC Report has obtained the approval in majority of European & American countries. The success of this international cooperation project marks that the leather test ability of Fangyuan has already matched with the international level, played an important role in facilitating our provincal and national leather export trade and responding to the trade technic barrier, established an important technical platform for realizing the goal of "establish the world advanced leather manufactory base" in Zhejiang.
In July 2004, the Electric Tools Test Laboratory of the Group has been approved by the CB Laboratory

In July 2004, Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group applied for the approval of the CB Laboratory to the National Certification and Accreditation Administration and then was officially authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration as one of the four new application CB Laboratories to IECEE. After that, the group organized a CB Laboratory approval team specially, which was wholly responsible for the organization planning, implement, supervision and information connection and contact work with our NCB, and at same time it made a sufficient preparation for the environmental reconstruction,self examination of equipments ability and repurchasing equipments,staff training etc. On August.6-7, 2004 IECEE international appraisal experts undertook two days field evaluation and examination on the electric tools test laboratory of the Group, and on Jan.27 of 2005 the CB Laboratory approval certification has been awarded. Thus Fangyuan Test Group becomes the first batch CB Laboratories in Zhejiang and the CB report for electric tools can obtain the mutual approval in international 43 countries and regions. In this regard, it symbolizes that our electric tools test ability has matched with the international advanced test laboratory, at same time in view of IECEE-CB system, it carries out the international approval final goal of "one kind of electrical product, the same IEC standard£¬testing in any site, and qualified evaluating result for only one time shall be acceptable globally", so as to provide powerful technical support to the electric tools export trade for our province and the surrounding regions.
In Sep. 2004, Zhejiang Quality Test Center for Automobile Products was established
On Sep 18, 2004, Zhejiang Quality Test Center for Automotive Products was jointly established by Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group and Dongfeng Hangzhou Automobile Co., Ltd.. This is the first social impartial organization specializing in the automobile product quality test in Zhejiang Province, and also the biggest automobile test center with the most advanced equipments and strongest test ability in Zhejiang Province. The test range covers passenger coaches, trucks, passenger cars, refitting vehicle, farming vehicle and deformation vehicle, and also will participate in the technical services of the automobile product quality evaluation, vehicle annual checking,second hand car quality evaluation,the motor-vehicle insurance evaluation etc. The establishment of the center will have far-reaching influence and facilitating function for further enhancing our provincial automobile product quality supervision, standardizing the market, improving product quality and keeping our provincial automobile Industry and consuming market developing healthily,orderly and rapidly.

In Dec. 2004, Zhejiang Chemical Building Material Association was established
In order to further push forward the healthy development of our provincial chemical building material industry, improve the technical and management level of the Industry, Zhejiang Chemical Building Material Association was founded on Dec 27, 2004. The association is led and technically supported by Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group, till now has 120 membership units, covering the manufacturing enterprises of piping materials and fittings, new kinds of building materials, doors and windows etc. President of Zhejiang Fangyuan Test Group, Director of National Chemical Building Material Quality Supervision Test Center-Li Zhenshao is appointed as the president of the association. The establishment of the association will have active function for further standardizing the provincial chemical building material market,facilitating the healthy, orderly and rapid development of the industry, and remaining the position of the large provincial chemical building material manufacturing base.
