Now, the center has the test capability of many kinds of package and paper product, and it can undertakes the test of various package product such as paper package, plastic package, metal package, glass package, constructional material package, transportation package part, danger chemical package and container etc, and 28 kinds products of them passed the approve of China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (CNAL); the center can test 44 parameters for the paper product, and the test scope covers most of the package and paper product inland; and at the same time, the center can carry out the measurement calibration of the special test instruments of the packing industry and 11 categories special test instruments of the paper industry (separate the pages as per the blocks).
The center primary undertakes the quality supervision & test authorized by the nation and the departments in charge, the mandatory product certificate, production license product test and product authentication of new product etc, and becomes the testing organization for the production license of the danger chemical product and container product.
