The precursor of the center is low-voltage Apparatus test station of Zhejiang Province General Mechanic Product Supervision & Test Station, it is the earliest professional low-voltage test lab of Zhejiang province, and it is the biggest provincial level low-voltage apparatus quality test organization in the province.The center passed the approval of China National Laboratories in Nov, 2002. It is the only pointed test lab in China by the international certificating organization-Sweden SEMKO , which passed the site examination of the organization.
The center has a team of test persons who experienced the low-voltage apparatus test for almost 20 years, within them, the engineers is more than 70% of them, and they have better professional knowledge and practical working experience; they can not only test the user's product, but also can give suggestion about the improvement of the product.
Because of designed in high standard, and with the continuous improvement and development in recent years, the test conditions of the center has more complete and better now. Now, the area of the test lab is more than 1200 M2, it has the many test equipments such as the domestic advanced BE490 data acquisition system, two 30m3 +15¡æ¡«+55¡æ constant temperature rooms, -25¡æ¡«100¡æ high/low temperature and low wind speed test box, alternation temperature box etc.
The center is the pointed low-voltage test organization for production license and the member organization of the national low-voltage test cooperation net. For a very long time, the center has undertaken many provincial supervision & test task and the model test for issuing the production license, and has accepted many tests authorized by enterprises in and out of the province. The center has a very high reputation in the low-voltage apparatus in Zhejiang province, which contribute greatly to the healthy and order development of Zhejiang province low-voltage apparatus industry and the quality of Zhejiang province low-voltage apparatus.
